Wizard Paint is the iPad version of the Award Winning Software GMX-PhotoPainter
With it, artists can start with an existing photo and transform it into an original artwork.
Wizard Paint first performs a topological analysis of the image’s content and builds a matrix of flow direction vectors. Users can then paint a few quick strokes across the desired features of their image. Wizard Paint uses this information to generate something that looks more like hand-drawn masterpieces.
It allows to create differents styles by combining brushes, textures and painting techniques, the number of combinations is endless.
How does it works?
As with traditional painting, Wizard Paint creations are composed of many overlapped brushstrokes. You have the creative freedom to choose and combine your own styles and settings, but at the same time guiding the painting process by automatically choosing the colors and directions of the brushstrokes.

Brief History of Gertrudis Graphics
Gertrudis Graphics started in 2004, by the combination of different things:
- I was interested in the Non Photo Realistic Rendering field.
- Back then I needed to learn about some particular image processing techniques because in my work I was asked to develop a Fingerprint matching Algorithm (which never came to light).
- Creating a publicly available software just for the fun of doing it.
