Auto Sketch Tool

Description:
This tool allows to make strokes whose directions are determined automatically. This means that the user does not need to move the mouse in a specific direction to guide the strokes, the orientation of the strokes will be obtained in an automatic way based on the characteristics of the image. In those areas where there are not significant variations of color, for example uniform backgrounds, completely black areas, etc., the automatic determination of directions will always create horizontal lines, for this reason it is convenient to make this areas with another tool as the free hand tool or the pattern tool.

How to use it:
Move the mouse with the left button pressed throughout the area where you want the strokes appear. The resulting strokes will appear in the right panel. The area where this tool will be applied is determined by the size indicated in the Size & Density Panel. 

The following options are closely related with the Auto Sketch Tool:

• Stop on Borders: When this option is checked, strokes won't cross the borders. This option is located in the Style Manager > Advanced options.
• View Directions: Decides if show or not the directions that the program has determined, these directions will be followed by the Auto Sketch tool. This option is located in the Main Menu > View.
• View Borders: Decides if show or not the image borders. These borders are those that will be used in the option Stop on Borders. This option is located in the Main Menu > View.
